This Customer Check verifies if MFA number verification is enabled.

Why this check?

The Number Verification feature adds an extra strong layer of security in the two-step verification process with Microsoft Authenticator with a small additional action. In this case, the employee not only receives a prompt to approve the login attempt but must also enter a number displayed on the screen.

What possible outcomes does the check have?

This check has two possible outcomes. In Attic, this is reflected as follows:

• Okay: Number verification is enabled.
• Notice: Number verification is not yet enabled.

How should this be followed up?

If the output is Notice, we advise enabling Number Verification.
