Why this check?

Two-factor authentication is a great way to protect the organization, but employees often get frustrated by the extra step to log in. Passwordless authentication methods are more user-friendly because the password is removed and replaced by something you have, plus something you are or something you know.

What possible outcomes does the check have?

This check has two possible outcomes. In Attic, this is reflected as follows:

• Okay: Passwordless authentication is enabled.
• Notice: Passwordless authentication is not yet enabled.

How should this be followed up?

If the output is Notice, we advise considering Passwordless Authentication. Since this represents a significant change to the login experience for employees, it is advisable to ensure that employees are informed in advance.
